Greetings! Can you believe we are already starting December?! Time is flying by. Here is the news for this week:
7th Social Studies
This week the students will be studying life in the 13 English colonies, especially culture and social divisions. At the end of the week, they will begin reviewing for the chapter 4 test, which will be announced later in the week.
8th Social Studies
On Wednesday, the students will take their test on chapter 18, Industry and Urbanization, and then we will begin studying the Progressive Era- the time period of political and social reforms. You may view the chapter 18 study guide here. Extra Help will be Wednesday morning, beginning at 7:30 a.m.
8th Religion
This week the students will be studying the book of Numbers, especially the rebellion of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, as well as how God healed the people in the wilderness. The memory verse for this week is Isaiah 41:13. The quiz will be on Thursday.
