Welcome to Mrs. Flomer’s class notes!

I sent a copy of these notes home on Monday to make sure everyone reads some important reminders.

Here’s a look at what we will be doing this week!

The children will write their spelling words 3x each for homework by Tuesday. They should write 8 sentences by Wednesday. Use at least 5 words in each sentence. The Spelling Test will be this Friday, 3/2.

Phonics- oa and ow words; contractions with ‘ve and ‘re

1AA News

We will celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday this week and participate with the rest of the school in Read Across America activities. The students will be reading many books by Dr. Seuss.

The kindergarten and 1st grade classes will celebrate the 100th day of school on Friday. We will have a special visitor, and we have lots of activities planned. Please make sure your child completes his/her decorated feet by Wednesday (a note went home on Monday). Also, please let me know if you are able to bake a dozen cookies for Friday.

Our class goes through so many pencils! If you have a box of sharpened pencils, please send them in to school. Thank you!

Have a Great Week!
