Jesus’ Time:  Christ is Risen! He is Risen indeed! Alleluia!

We are following Jesus’ appearances right to the Sea of Galilee as we hear Him telling us to feed His sheep.  We will even join him in a breakfast on the beach.

Science:  Reptiles-we are learning about these marvelous creatures through Dinosaurs.  Knowing that they have scales, can be carnivores or herbivores, we have read stories about them, done puzzles about their environment, and made our own out of clay.  We are the “earth savers” and now must keep other animals from becoming extinct.  Our centers have included:  Dinosaur models, Dinosaurs in the Sand, Dinosaur floor puzzles, Dinosaur Stencils and rubbing plates, as well as Dinosaur table puzzles.

Letters and sounds:  We are writing in our our Little Book and reviewing the sounds we have already learned.  This week we are working with the Letter “Ll”.  We have gone to the library; read Leo the Late Bloomer, Aesop’s Lion and the Mouse, and Curious George at the Laundromat.

Art:  Mrs. Kerwin presented us with an art appreciation lesson on the rain forest and then we water painted our own rain forests to which we added our dinosaurs,

We are also working on flower gardens, using different media to learn about spring flowers.
