It’s hard to believe we are down to our final days of 4th grade. We have completed most of our units in several academic subjects and are now doing review work which will help reinforce what they’ve learned throughout the school year.
This week they are taking Benchmark exams in Math and ELA. These are the same tests given in September and February and they are used to show individual growth and progress.
Week: June 5-9
Reading: We are reading a variety of stories to review different reading strategies. Work done in class will be put together to comprise a final Reading test grade
Writing: the final writing assignment in 4th grade is student choice. They were given the criteria to complete a three paragraph essay on opinion writing, informative writing, or descriptive writing
Math: Chapter 12 Measurement
Science: Reviewing concepts learned
Social Studies: Reviewing concepts learned
