Week 26

“Never interrupt someone doing what you said couldn’t be done.” – Amelia Earhart

Let’s all say a little prayer to God that this is a complete week of school! Although I do love the childish joy of a snow day, I am beginning to look forward to spring.

I am excited to share with all of you that we now have online access to Journeys, Go Math and Science. On Tuesday, I am going to try to go with the students to Computer, and I will show them how to access everything. I will also be sending home a letter with instruction on how to log in.  I will be assigning work for students to complete.  At this point in time, we will do all the work in the computer lab and they can also work on it at home. For right now, nothing will be graded as we are all going through a learning process.

Students who take instrument lessons need to remember to bring their instruments to school for both lessons and orchestra (2 times a week).

Math

We have been working on fractions and we will be having a test on Chapter 8 on Friday. I encourage everyone to work on the assignments from TC.TrinityLI.org.   Additionally please review Rocket Math papers every day. Taking the time to memorize multiplication facts in 3rd grade is so important to your child’s success in Math in future grades. Please review them nightly.
