Week 38

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.” – Henry Ford

It’s our final week in 3rd grade. I have come to love all of my students and I will miss them as they move on to 4th grade.

I will be sending home textbooks and supplies throughout the entire week. Please make sure that your child empties the backpack each day.

We are having our final test on Tuesday. It is in Math and will cover 2-dimensional figures.

We will be finishing up reading “The Tale of Despereaux”.

On Thursday, I am sending home “Summer Packets”. These packets are for your child to practice throughout the summer. The summer work includes reading 3 chapter books. All students who complete the summer packets will be entitled to a “Nut Card”.  Should the packet be misplaced, you can always print out another from the Trinity website.

On Friday, we are going to have an end of year celebration! All of the students have volunteered to send something in for our party. A note was sent home last Friday. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Thank you for a wonderful school year, and I wish you all a fantastic summer!
